Back in 2004, two Chicago attorneys got fed up at paying a fortune for neckties. So rather than continuing to complain about it, they created The Tie Bar. And they never looked back.
One attorney was responsible for teaching himself neckwear design. One attorney was responsible for teaching herself the retail business. At first, things didn’t go so smoothly. Money was lost. Mistakes were made. More money was lost. But slowly, the designing improved and word started to get around.
