Trey Songz and friends fueled up for the night, feasting on favorites including Lobster Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Satay of Bass and more. They toasted to a friend in the group celebrating a birthday with a round of shots. Once up in the club Trey Songz wasted no time hyping the crowd. From his VIP table on the dance floor he entertained club goers with a medley of his hits including Bottom’s Up, Say Aah and I Invented Sex and then MC’s the party for the night with DJ Vice.
Entertainment reporter Ben Lyons also dined at TAO with friends including Lady Gaga’s DJ, DJ White Shadow and internet sensation Fabrizio Goldstein aka Fat Jew. The group enjoyed Sushi, Lobster Wontons and Wok Sirloin before heading over to LAVO.
LAVO featured a special appearance by Tyga. After dining at LAVO Italian Restaurant on Kobe Meatballs and Rib Eye, the rapper made his way to the nightclub as the crowd screamed with excitement as soon as they saw him walk in. Shortly after arriving Tyga headed to the DJ booth where he surprised the crowd with a medley of hits including Make It Nasty, Faded, The Motto, and Rack City, which he performed not once but twice to a cheering crowd that sang along to every word. The rapper proved he was a true performer, jumping on the DJ booth and handing off the mic to people in the crowd to sing the words, all the while keeping everyone engaged through every minute of his ten song set.
At Marquee in the main room DJ Paul Oakenfold and the EC Twins spun for a packed crowd and the night featured a performance by Danish pop singer Medina.
Earlier in the day LAVO hosted the final Saturday Champagne Brunch of the season, marking a party-filled fall and winter and making way for the start of pool season. Angel Porrino of Absinthe hosted the soiree, serving as honorary life guard. The celebration even included a special Champagne delivery via the LAVO mini-Escalade which drove through the packed party filled with bubbly.
