
THE CO-HOST OF THE NATIONALLY SYNDICATED STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW Los Angeles, CA, Syndicated radio show host and author Shirley Strawberry has been nominated for a 2011 African American Literary Award for her book THE STRAWBERRY LETTER: Real Talk, Real Advice, Because Bitterness Isn’t Sexy.
The African American Literary Awards recognize, honor, celebrate and promote the outstanding achievements and contributions that African-American authors and writers make to the publishing, arts and entertainment industries. The award show will take place Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. and it will be held at Landmark On the Park 160 Central Park West, New York City.
Shirley says, “I’m humbled and grateful. It truly is an honor to be nominated. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined this! Thank you to the Aftican American Literary Awards!”
