Last night the cast of the new Weinstein Company film, Our Idiot Brother enjoyed Purity Vodka specialty cocktails during the after party that took place at The Mondrian Hotel’s SkyBar in LA. Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Rashida Jones, Adam Scott, Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, Harvey Weinstein, and Olivia Munn were among the guests in attendance. Purity was the exclusive vodka served to 400 guests at the event with a menu of customized cocktails: “Ned’s Juice”, a delicious combination of Purity Vodka, fresh lemon juice, agave nectar and muddled strawberries, “The Idealist”, a refreshing combination of Purity Vodka, fresh lemon juice and sparkling soda water and “Purity Southside”, a revitalizing blend of Purity Vodka, fresh lime juice and cucumber infused with mint leaves.
Parks and Rec stars Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, and Rashida Jones were hanging out and laughing and Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks held court upstairs with Harvey Weinstein and director Jesse Peretz. Busy Phillips and Olivia Munn were also seen catching up and sharing a few fun laughs. Paul Rudd had such a great time that he was one of the last guests to leave.
Specialty Cocktail Recipes:
Purity Southside
o 2 oz Purity Vodka
o 1 oz lime juice
o .75 simple sugar
o 4-5 mint leaves
o Muddle cucumber (or infuse it in the vodka with the mint) add remaining
ingredients and shake. Garnish with cucumber slice skewered with mint
sprigs.
Ned’s Juice
o 2 oz Purity Vodka
o 1 oz lemon juice
o .5 oz agave nectar
o 4-5 fresh strawberries
o Muddle strawberries with lemon juice and agave , add Purity and ice,
shake and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a strawberry
The Idealist
o 2 oz Purity
o 1 oz fresh lemon juice
o .75 oz simple syrup
o 2 oz soda water
o Add all ingredients except soda water into a shaker with ice and shake
until cold. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and top with soda.
Garnish with a lemon (twist, wheel, or wedge).
