London/PRNewswire/ — American superstar Ke$ha performed her hit songs at the “EF Summeranza” party last night to a crowd of more than 3,000 EF language students. As the party’s headlining performer, she was also on hand to congratulate contest winners who had choreographed a dance routine to her chart-topping single, “Blow”. The exclusive concert took place at the Kempton Park Racecourse just outside London where language students from around the world met for a night of fun and celebration.
Earlier this summer, Ke$ha’s song “Blow’ was named this year’s official EF Summer Song and students competed in a dance competition to meet her in person and perform at the event. The winning team’s choreography was voted on by EF students and their dance moves have been taught to thousands of EF students.
Ke$ha met the winning team, led by Swedish student Sabi Sabahudin (16) and five of his friends, before giving the private concert to EF students studying in the UK. The concert reached its peak when Ke$ha’s song ‘Blow’ started and the entire crowd began dancing the winning choreography in unison.
“I can’t believe we got to meet Ke$ha and perform our dance in front of the crowd,” says Sabi, who had been preparing for many weeks. “It was incredible to see so many people dancing along – definitely a highlight of our summer.”
In addition to preparing students with top-rated language learning courses, EF schools give students the opportunity to have fun, make friends from all over the world and have the summer of their lives.
“We are thrilled to have Ke$ha here to perform the EF Summer Song in front of all our students since she is such big star to many of our students,” said Mauro Cuervo, President of EF Language Travel. “The Summeranza student party is a great opportunity to show that language learning abroad goes far beyond traditional classroom learning – our students have tons of fun too.”
The excitement of this unforgettable experience remained on the glittering faces of the students when they boarded buses back to their EF course towns across England.
