NBA champion, Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers, partied Vegas-style Saturday night at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens (www.chateaunightclublv.com) at Paris Las Vegas. Also walking the red carpet at Chateau Saturday night was the gorgeous Angel Porrino of E! Entertainment’s hit reality show, “Holly’s World,” and the Strip’s newest revue, “Absinthe,” before heading to Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino to host an Angels & Demons party.
Artest, who recently petitioned to have his name legally changed to “Metta World Peace,” walked the red carpet looking casual wearing a black T-shirt and 7 For All Mankind blue jeans, while Porrino looked stunning in a sultry, black and red lace Betsey Johnson dress.
The always entertaining NBA all-star and his large entourage took over Chateau’s exclusive VIP section and drank Grey Goose vodka and champagne while Lakers fans and partygoers snapped photos of the professional athlete. Later in the night, Artest got in Chateau’s grand marble DJ booth and grabbed the mic saying, “make some noise” to get the crowd pumped and sang along to songs like “Black and Yellow” by Wiz Kalifa and “I’m the Ish” by DJ Class featuring Lil Jon.
